About Us

DZMS Commercial Model & Talent Agency is a company that represents commercial models & talents, to work for the industry. We earn our income via commission, usually from the deal we have made with the model or talent.

We work with big-budget advertising agencies, fashion designers and corporate clients. We could invest money into developing our models & talents so they can increase their status within the industry. We also will help train them, get exposures, layout portfolios, and put together comp cards (composition photo cards) and other printed materials models or talents need.

We find work by presenting models & talents to designers, photographers, production houses, corporate clients and ad agencies, booking the jobs, billing for the jobs, and eventually paying the models & talents for their time. By handling the details, we allow a model or talent to focus on work and not on the business end.

Because modeling & talent is a very competitive, fast moving business that extends beyond the traditional 9 to 5, we generally conducts business 'round the clock' to handle emergencies, such as cancellations or rush jobs. We have a service to direct emergency contact after hours.

Booking Agents

We use booking agents to keep track of who uses models. We have a phone that is manned and an office that a client can visit. We also send out reminders for fresh models & talents. We advertise, do lunches, do cold calls and find available gigs.

Type Of Talent We Represent

Type of model we are looking for/will represent:-

1. Models

• aged 16-30 yrs
• classic or unusual looking or Pan Asian
• height min 5'7" (girls) & min 5'11" (guys)
• clear skin, good hair & teeth

2. Classic Models

• aged 30-70 yrs
• classic or character look or Pan Asian
• height min 5'5" (women) & min 5'10" (men)
• clear skin & even features

3. Junior Division

Our Junior division represents children from 1-12 years and teenagers from 13-16 years for both photographic and television work.

Specific Details:

Models –

This division represents young Commercial Models from late-teens to early-30 for advertising and beauty campaigns, magazines, catalogues & commercials.

Classic Models –

Our Classic models are from mid-30's Upwards and work on photographic advertising campaigns and TV commercials.

Junior Division –

We represent a fantastic selection of Junior models from ‘chocolate box’ to character kids & babies.

Becoming A Model With DZMS Is So Easy!

1) The first step is to understand about who we are and submit your photos.

2) You may submit your photos by email. Emailed photos will be accepted in .jpg and .gif formats only. Please do not send photos embedded in MSWord, Pdf, PowerPoint, Excel or any other format other than as a regular picture attachment. Please email photos to diha.dzms@gmail.com

3) Once we receive your registration and photos, DZMS Commercial Model & Talent Agency will evaluate your photos within 48 hours after they were received.

4) After your photos have been reviewed you will receive an email, within 10 business days, advising you if we think you have the potential in this business. You will then be invited to meet us and you are required to pay RM35.00 processing fee upon arriving at our office. This fee included an exclusive profile photo shoot which will be used to market you.

5) However, only successful candidate will be marketed by DZMS. DZMS will charge each talent a commission of 20% as service charge to the talent for getting the job on their behalf.

Is There A Processing Fee For Successful Candidate?

Yes. The fee is RM35.00. Processing fees are non-refundable.

Why Is There A Fee To Submit My Photos?

The RM35.00 fee helps to cover the costs of operating our website such as web designers, hosting, advertising, office staff, photographer etc. This fee is much less than you would pay for making copies of all your photos and mailing them to all of the agencies and is much less than many online scouting services who charge between RM100 – RM250 per year simply to post your photos on their websites. We are the most efficient and cost-effective way to promote yourself to legitimate modeling agencies.

What Other Expenses Will I Have?

There are no other costs involved when submitting your photos to us. There are no monthly or annual fees, only the one time processing fee of RM35.00. If you are signed to a casting agency, whether it is through us or through another source, you may be expected to cover your basic costs for the tools you need to be a professional model such as, composite cards, test shoots, couriers, postage, etc. Some larger agencies may be willing to cover these initial expenses and then deduct them from your work; however, smaller agencies may not be able to cover these expenses for you. Every agency in every market is different, so please expect to cover your own initial expenses if you are signed / registering to a casting agency.
